Meet the Robbins

We are the Robbins family, and we used to live in Lehi, Utah.  We lived in an amazing neighborhood.  We had an awesome house, great friends, and a practically perfect life.  We lived close to family, and were very comfortable in our lives.  But, we decided to leave all this behind and move to Costa Rica.

So why would be leave our perfect setup for the unknown?  The answer is simple.  We wanted our kids to have the experience of a lifetime.  We decided that we would go learn Spanish as a family and have a world experience that would hopefully open all of our eyes to a broader perspective of the world around us.

We want our kids to truly appreciate America and all that we have.  We think this move will help our kids lose a little entitlement and gain a little more gratitude. 

We spent two years preparing for the day when we would leave all that we know behind and move our family to a different country.  It took a lot of work to uproot our lives!
